I see m'lady

her midnight tresses

flow gently down

and I brush them

from her eyes

so that I might see

I feel m'lady

Her empathic looks

like deep pools

that if I could

I would let go

and immerse

Gentle face

Torn, I see her

That I could but help

An I would

With all my life

And all my soul

Radiance, the light.

It does love her

But you can no more

hold the light

than you could

hold the dark

Yet the dark, it too

wishes for her,

how could it not?

But how could dark

take what is not

meant for him

And the two battle,

battle each other

and themselves

and they become

more that they were

because of her

But the battle

Is not just within.

There is another

and he is given

as much favor

as the torn

And so it stands

a triangle formed

between the three

The Whole...

The Torn...

and The Free.
