The tale of Lady Artemis's first becoming a known figure is a strange one indeed.
She is the Zookeeper of the Moonglow Zoo, where her role appears to have largely been behind-the-scenes. Though the Moonglow Zoo was of course well-known and often-visited, Artemis herself doesn't appear to have been well-known outside of Moonglow until she had the misfortune of encountering a boorish, thuggish, would-be hero by the name of Hercules.
