Title: A Mage in Trinsic

I am starting a new life in Trinsic after I was exiled from Moonglow for my conduct during the competition of leadership. Apparently, spells and potions of sickness and fatigue are too close in their mind to poisoning your opponent. I call this a lack of creativity!

I don't intend to be alone in this city for long. A paladin of some stature and position has caught my attention. I will win his heart by charm or by magic to insure a quick rise in the power structure here. My secret society needs me in a position of power quickly for their plans to work.

My marriage to Edward is complete, and I will sway his decisions in the government here toward greater autonomy for Trinsic.

Edward may be easily swayed into love and marriage, but his loyalty to Britannia cannot be bent. If Trinsic is to become a sovereign state under my control, he must be removed. I have contacted an elf criminal named Linve who I believe will be able to murder my loving husband.

Linve was able to dispatch Edward to my instructions. My information of his daily rounds made it almost too easy. I had her dressed like the infamous Wintair assassins to make it look like a political assassination from outside Trinsic. That along with Edward's "final words" have helped gain me a seat on the town council.

The rest of the fools on the council lacked Edward's convictions and fortitude. I have bespelled them slightly, strengthening their loyalty to my husband's memory and free Trinsic. Now to win the heart of the populace with my special bread. A simple mind-numbing spell with some Compassion sage herbs should be enough for peasants.

I need to instill fear among my followers. Another assassination may work, but an attempt on my person should be enough. Linve should be willing to help again. If this is successful, I may need to sacrifice my pawn for she knows too much.

Linve's actions were a success, and now I must bid her farewell.

I lead Linve to abandoned property outside of Trinsic at 138o 41'S 36o 33'E. I brought her to the cellar there and abandoned her there. I case a spell to confuse her. The poor girl will eventually starve to death. Still, it gives me a week or so to change my mind.

I have decided to keep my journal here in after someone tried to break into my home.
