As it seemed Britannia was entering a golden age, Lord British, the beloved ruler of Britannia, went down to explore the underworld and was lost. At this time, from the three largest shards of the broken gem of immortality came the Shadowlords, who could warp the minds of men and turn them away from the virtues.
