I don't know where I'm
from. Frankly, I don't
care. I remember
growing up in the
forests between
Brittian and Yew.
The wisps there
seemed to think of me
as one of their own.
They protected me.

I remember being
chased by many a
monster, only to have
a wisp materialize and
destroy it, then nurse
my wounds. I hated
them. The wisps.
Their sparkle hurt
my eyes. Whenever I
saw one, I tried to kill
it, hoping I would die
myself. But they did
not fight back. They
just floated there.

Then, it happened. I
was trapped by a band
of orcs. They did not
kill me, but I was hit
on my head very
hard by an ettin. The
wisps came, but they
were too late. I was on
the brink of death,
and they could not
help me. I remember
them swirling about
my head before I
blacked out. When I
woke up, it was dark.

I have no idea how long
I was out. Then I
realized, I was much
older than when I
blacked out. Then I
saw them. Dead
wisps. There was one
left. It told me that
they had guarded me
for 10 years, using
their own life force so
that I would not die.
He was overjoyed that
I had finally come out
of my coma. Now the
wisps could rejoice,
and I could come live
with them again.

I drew my dagger, and
slew that wisp. I
started wandering,
and I started my
"collection." Whenever
I saw a dead body, I
chopped it up and took
it with me. I always
carry my collection
with me. It reminds
me of how the world
forsook me.

Then I met her. I was in the
woods, when I was a
person clad in green. I
thought that this
person would kill me.
She stepped out and
introduced herself as
Takhin. We bacame
good friends. She did
not resent me because
of my collection, or
my habits. She told me
that I had psychosis. I
did not believe her
until she showed me.

She was crying. She
took me into a grove. I
saw many dead bodies.
I looked at my hands.
They were stained
with blood. I had never
realized it until then. I
was prone to homicidal
fits of rage. How
many people had I
killed? How many
children had my
dagger slewn? I cried,
and Takhin comforted
me.

I drew my dagger,
and plunged it into my
chest. I heard Takhin
scream as I died. I
awoke, expecting to
see the fires of Hell,
but instead I saw an
angel. Takhin was
staring down at me.
She had healed me. I
shoved her off of me,
and looked for my
dagger. I must die, so
that no other innocents
would die. My dagger
was not there. She told
me that she had taken
it. My vision started
to be clouded with red,
and I knew that I was
going to kill her and I
couldn't help myself.

But then, the red haze
dissipated. I saw
Takhin smile. Then I
realized, she had
cured me of my
insanity! I hugged her,
and swore I would
never kill another
person again.

However, I DO still
carve up bodies for
my "collection." If I
don't I might pack up
all my rage, and go
insane again. Takhin
and I lived in the
woods together. One
day, I woke up and she
was gone. I could not
find her, and I knew
that she had
abandoned me. I cried
again, because I had
somehow forsaken
my only true friend. I
left a trail of tears
wherever I went.

Then I thought to
myself, what if I
killed her? I don't
remember what
happened after that. I
somehow got to
Moonglow and started a
life as a theif. Thats
when I saw her,
Takhin. We embraced,
and told our stories.
She told me that she
had a dream where
she saw a mage killing
her brother. She set
off in the middle of
the night, focusing
only on one thing. Her
brother. Only many
days later did she
even realized that she
had left me behind.

She told me that she
had made many new
friends in a city
called Cove. Her
brother lives there,
but she has yet to
meet him. She joined a
group of people called
the Stonecutters. She
told me they were
nice. She asked me to
come live with her,
and I agreed. I now live
in Cove. If you see
Takhin, tell her I said
hi. If you ever see a
man clad in green
armor atop a horse
names Tasselhoff,
and he is a knight of
the lilly, tell him his
sister loves him.
