"Zog" was an inhabitant of ancient Sosaria to whom the wisps gave the Ritual of Armageddon. When it Ritual was sucessfully cat, it eradicated all life from the face of the planet. According to speculative acheological records, this event occured roughly two thousand years ago. <br />

Unbalanced humans eventually came to revere Zog as holy and sought to recast the spell approximately 310 years after the defeat of Mondain by the Stranger. The Zog Cabal, as it was originally known, became the Followers of Armageddon and only suceeded in opening passage to the Lost Lands. The Followers of Armageddon have resurfaced several times over the years, and have a strong presence in Ilshenar - Especially in the Central and Wisp dungeons.<br />
