The Wisp Elder Broker is a gatherer and dealer of information. It will, as far as can be known, gather and trade for almost any piece of information that is knowable. Its price is usually more information. If nothing else will prove the fact that it would deal with anyone, there is the fact that it first came to the attention of the Royal Spies because it was dealing with the Brothers of Valor, who wanted knowledge of how to modify the Armageddon spell so that it would only impact non-humans. That the wisp itself was non-human, and thus would be caught in the Brothers' vile net does not appear to have occurred to the wisp.

Since then, however, the Elder Wisp has given information to the Royal Spies, exacting the same price every time: More information, usually in the form of books. Among other things, it has provided information on how to combat the Void Plague in Ter Mur and how to combat the Cult of Styx.

It appears to have a particular fondness for Martyna Z'muir, of the Library of Sosaria.
