Vraalbaltem is a member of the An-Kal-Lem, a cult and sub-race of gargoyles, evil traitors to the gargish way. Vraalbaltem works for Buldur, a General of the Demon Conclave. She was involved in the kidnapping and torture of Vasarglem, a gargoyle silversmith, as part of one of the Demon Conclave's foul rituals. While the Britannian Minister of Security was able to rescue Vasarglem and prevent his death, they were unable to prevent Vraalbaltem from making off with the "Breath of Air," some kind of manifestation of the Elemental Titan of Air, Stratos. Stratos's Breath was necessary in one of the Demon Conclave's foul rituals.

Vraalbaltem, even by the standards of the evil servants of demonkind, appears to truly relish her sadistic, vile work.
