Stratos is one of four Elemental Titans; legend holds them to be native to a savage, strange, and brutal world known as Pagan. Stratos is the Titan of Air. The others are Hydros (Titan of Air, and the other female of the family), Pyros (Titan of Fire, male), and Lithos (Titan of Earth).

The Royal Spies found themselves in the middle of a blood feud among the Family of Titans when they interrupted the Cult of Styx's attempt to bring Lithos into the world. Stratos appeared, in several different forms, to the spies, and granted assistance in their attempts to contain Lithos. It seems that she fears her brother's power.

Stratos was known to have a bad history with the demons, which further endeared her to the Royal Spies. Curiously, however, Queen Zhah of the Gargoyles made the Royal Spies promise, in exchange for her help getting into a secret area of Xenve An-amo-lem, to not allow Stratos to harm the gargoyles. The implication was clearly that she had some reason to think that this might occur.

Stratos's manner can safely and fairly be described as detached, remote, and at least a little scornful.

However, the enemies of our enemies, while not necessarily our friends, are often of use.

Blood Feuds are always dangerous things to be in the middle of. This truism is even more accurate when the "family" is one of Elemental Titans than it is normally.
