The Queen's Elite Guard stood watch in the Throne Room over Queen Dawn's seemingly ill-advised attempt to break into Lord British's Vault and retrieve the Crystal of Duplicity. Once the Crystal was retrieved and put on display in the throne room, the Elite Guards stood watch over it. Rather than conventional plate mail gorgets, they wore Tokunoese-style mempos, to cover the mouth in an attempt to keep out as much dust from the dig as possible. Their armor was a strange marble color. Queen Dawn was known to spar with members of the Elite Guard on occasion.

Regrettably, the Elite Guard met their end at the hands of the Demon Conclave, during an attack on the City of Britain to retrieve the Crystal. The Guards died, and the Crystal stolen, but not by the Conclave but by parties not officially known at the time of writing, but suspected to be the thief Ricardo.
