Pleasance is a very strange woman based out of Umbra in Malas. Umbra is the City of Necromancers, and Pleasance is nothing if not a necromancer with a vengeance, her manner and clothing cold and dark. Pleasance was encountered by the Royal Spies, who sought, and achieved, her assistance in restoring a garogyle tinker's soul to him. Later, it was revealed she was a member of a family which had all died in a fire. The family had a family banshee, which had failed to warn them or guide them into the afterlife. Until the intervention of Britannia, Pleasance was strangely enough the only member of the family in any kind of peace. Pleasance's help was obtained, but quite reluctantly, to put her family at peace.
