He also sat on the Ruling Council/Royal Council, and had some security role, as Avery had worked for him directly at one point. (Perhaps indicating that the Royal Treasury Department has at least at some points had its own security, police, or military forces.) He was known to Sherry and Aileen.<br /> <br /> As the conspiracy against the Royal Council proceeded, Francesco was often purposefully distracted by evil forces, so he wouldn't see the looming disaster.<br /> <br /> During the early days of the Shadowlords attacks on our realm, he had devised a plan to in effect nationalize the local guards and militias for the various towns. He was working on this, and was by some accounts moderately close to completion.<br /> <br /> And then, he was, like almost everyone else on the Ruling Council, murdered by the Followers of Armageddon, as an unholy gift to the Shadowlords.
