The man looked up at
the other figure in the
storm that was
drenching an old
sandstone temple. He
was clearly not
afraid. His mind was
set on one thing.

He
spoke with heart, "It
belongs in a museum."

The other man smiled
and laughed
evily,"Basil my
friend, it belongs with
me and I am sure some
salesman in West
Britain will pay a
hefty price for it."

Basil coughed up blood
and struggled to get
up,"How can you do
this Boromir? It
belongs to the people.."

Boromir kicked Basil
in the stomach
sending him sliding
across the wet
sandstone,"Quite
easily my friend, for
8 million gold, you
would too." Basil
squinted out of a
puffed up eyelid at
the whip that was 10
feet from him. If he
could just reach it...
Basil reeled in pain as
another nasty kick
was dealt to his
stomach. "You and me
have had some good
times Basil. But I am
afraid our time
together has come to an
end here." Boromir
pulled out his sword
and knelt towards
Basil. Basil used all
his strength to kick
out at Boromir. The
kick caught Boromir in
the midsection and
sent him sprawling.
The sword in his
hands flew through
the air to a good 20
feet from Boromir.
Basil scrambled
towards his whip as
Boromir scrambled to
his sword. Boromir
grabbed his sword and
turn around to face
Basil. Before he could
move, Basil's whip
wrapped around his
hand. Basil tugged
hard and the sword
fell out of Boromir's
hand once more. Basil
stood calmly in the
rain facing Boromir.

Through gritted teeth
he spoke, "It belongs in
a museum." Basil
cracked the whip at
Boromir again.
Boromir got the
message and tossed
the artifact to Basil,

"You know you can't
hide from me Basil.
You can't save every
artifact from
becoming sold on the
market. You have not
the guts to kill me.
You are a coward!" Basil slowly turned
around and proceeded
to walk away from
Boromir in the
drenching rain. "You
hear me Basil? You
can't escape me! You'll
never be rid of me!" Basil turned around
grinning. He drew on
his weak magics to
paralyze Boromir.

Slowly he tied him up
and walked off, "Don't
mind the natives
Boromir."

Boromir's face went pale, "Basil!
You can't leave me
here like this Basil! I
know you! You won't!
You'll come back for
me! BASIL! DON'T
LEAVE ME!"

With a
grin Basil started jogging off towards
the boat near the old
temple. With artifact
in hand, the people
would be happy...
