No doubt only a few 
of you have ever 
heard the name 
Wulfsblade ever
mentioned,for the 
seas have forgotten 
the legendary blade, 
forged by a god in all 
his glory.  The god 
Aaragon.  Lord of the 
Light, title of the Lord 
himself.  The god was 
wise to create 
Wulfsblade, for the 
blade chose it's own 
wielder, the wielder 
would be found by the 
blade, not the blade 
finding the wielder.



''Chapter One:''       
''-The Forging-''


The Gods called a 
council.  This council 
found what they 
needed, discussed 
their topics, and found 
what could be called 
the truth.  It was in 
the Thousandth Life, 
the period a million 
years after the birth 
of the ancients.   The 
Seventh Great War 
had begun.  The 
forces of 
Baka'arra'alamon had 
gathered in numbers 
never before seen.  
Millions of orcs, 
thousands of liches, 
and ten-score that 
many skeletal 
wariors.  In this age, 
the elves, dwarves, 
and ancients united, to 
speak with the gods, 
and destroy this great 
evil.  Their cross bred 
races were created of 
this, the creed signed 
that none of them 
should ever wreak 
havoc upon another. 
 
With this treaty, 
there came the 
creation of a new race, 
called infidels by the 
elves, and weaklings 
by the dwarves.  So 
came humanity.  The 
ancients bore a close 
resemblance to 
humans, but the 
ancients had very 
intense eyes, unlike 
humans, who had dull 
eyes in comparison.  

However, this new 
race could choose it's 
side.  Some sided with 
darkness, but many 
sided with light.  Still, 
the war would not be 
won by those who 
aided it alone.  So the 
gods met.  The forging 
of the seven legendary 
blades began.  From 
Huralen, Lord of the 
Storm, came 
Windsknife, a power 
ful blade possesing 
the powers of a 
storm.  Brelaar, Lord 
of the Ice, forged 
Coldedge.  This blade 
possesed all the 
powers of the frozen 
north.  From 
Gurraaar, Lord of the 
Flame, came 
Blazesword, a blade 
with the power of the 
raging inferno.  So 
came Seablade, 
Lightedge, and 
Darkblade, from their 
respective lords.  

However, the final 
forging came from 
Wulfen.  The other 
gods began to watch 
with mounting 
anticipation.  After a 
decade of the fighting 
had passed, the final 
blade was made.  

Wulfsblade emerged 
from the forge.  
Always it would find 
it's wielder, just as 
the other swords 
would.  Wulfsblade 
possesed all the 
powers the Lord of the 
Wolf held, from the 
knowledge and sight, 
to the unbridled 
power.  It was called 
the head sword, 
because not only did it 
embody all the powers 
the Lord of the Wolf 
had placed into it, but 
he had spent those 
years gathering the 
magic of the other 
Lords.  It was to be 
handed through a 
family, for years and 
years, until it was no 
longer needed.  And so 
it came, the birth of a 
legend.  And so 
entered the fray, 
Wulfsblade.



''Chapter Two:''  
''-The Battle-''


As the swords entered 
the fray, the tides 
began to turn.  The 
ancients, who wielded 
the swords, now 
rallied the armies of 
light together.  The 
battles began to turn 
with the defense of 
Maa'raa'kal, an 
outlying world.  The 
enemies were 
completely trounced, 
the forces of light 
holding their ground 
with only a dozen 
fallen, according to 
ancient scripts.  The 
forces of light forced 
the enemies off to the 
very surface of 
Darkwurld, the very 
spot where evil was 
said to spawn from, 
where the demon 
lords themselves were 
said to be born.  The 
strongest of these, 
Memnoch, began to 
create his own 
ultimate race.  He 
worked hard, creating 
experiments, causing 
vampires, ettins, 
darkmares, now 
known as 
Nightmares.  He 
finally made his 
dream truth, creating 
Dark Wyrms.  Each 
Dark Wyrm created 
could destroy almost 
any creature in single 
combat.  His powers 
let him create only a 
score of them.  So 
great were they, only 
a wielder of one of the 
blades could ever 
destroy one.  These 
beasts even plagued 
lesser elves and 
dwarves, and their 
kin, on the world of 
Krynn.  These men 
began to create 
weapons, called 
Dragonlances.  Made 
of a rare mystic 
silver, and made only 
with a god blessed 
hammer, the lesser 
races supplied the 
others with these 
powerful weapons.  

The weapons killed 
many dark dragons, 
and rumors have come 
to me that one group of 
lancers even defeated 
seven wyrms.  The 
final battles 
approached, and 
dragon flights were 
commonplace then.  A 
truce was finally 
declared.  The dark 
wyrms began to fall 
into a mystic sleep, 
and the legendary 
swords were stored.  
They have remained 
swords were stored.  
They have remained 
stored for thousands 
of years, waiting until 
there is again a need.  
In each of the great 
wars, their power has 
been called upon.  
Each war came with 
Memnoch's forces 
becoming stronger and 
stronger, and with 
each day, the 
darkness seemed to 
come closer and closer. 

It seemed the wars 
would never end.  But 
then the gods decided 
to place their hopes on 
the the shattered 
realms of Brittania.  
If the lands could 
hold, then all would 
appear well.  
However, the law 
included that only one 
of each of the toys of 
darkness and light 
could be placed upon 
the world.  The light 
chose the dragons, and 
darkness the orcs.  
The humans were 
placed as the deciding 
factor.  However, the 
treaty was not 
observed.  Soldiers 
began to enter the 
realms, ancients, 
elves, and dwarves 
joining the dragons.  
Daemons, ettins, 
undead, and other 
fiends joined the orcs 
in their battles.  It 
seemed nothing would 
decide the outcome, 
and that this would be 
the longest of the great 
wars.  

But at the 
coming of the Second 
Thousand, a new hero 
emereged.  Known as 
Blackwulf, he was 
the child of the wolf 
and of Kerrik- 
Aaragon, maiden of 
the Darkness.  It was 
said that Wulfen and 
Kerrik had gotten his 
parents together, and 
then made them fall 
in battle.  He became 
one of the greatest 
warriors ever, 
intended to wield a 
blade of the gods.  It 
was said only one 
would ever be as 
strong as him. They 
claimed his son, 
Aragon'th'Wulfen 
would one day weild 
the Wulfsblade.
